Ancient house at Nha Trang

Phu Vinh ancient village of Vinh Thanh Commune, located about 7km from the Nha Trang center. This village has a history of over 200 years, print in bold Vietnam's ancient architecture.

The first impression when you come to the ancient village is a long-running row "Cau" tree set from the top of the village, far away is ancient roof.

The house was built in the traditional style of the central region of Vietnam, this architecture called "Bat Can Dan" (three compartments with 36 wooden pillars). The old house has a history of over 100 years, the campus houses include house and garden, wooden doors and pillars are carved meticulous, picky.

Most prominent among the old houses here is the home of Nguyen Xuan Hai (72 years old). The house has undergone 6 generation but has not repaired any time. The total area of the house approximately 4,000m2 with landscaping "the river in front and mountains in behind". House was built three compartment, five interconnecting and 36 wooden pillars (This pillar is mainly made from "Xăm Xe" wood, this is a valuable wood only in Central Vietnam, the French think this wood such as "Steel of Annam").

Carved art is clearly expressed through the image of the truss. Truss carved elaborately exquisite images of reindeer, apricot, bird, butterflies, nest bird…
The nave of the house is where worship ancestor, above the ancestor altar with a horizontal lacquered boards with title "moral can propagate everywhere" this is the monitory of ancestor to next generation that moral can influence to everyone, everything, so certain to be ethical.

The roof is low but the house is always ventilation and cool, because it is surrounded by a large orchard.
